We are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join a dedicated team in Charleston, SC. Salary: $71,000 - $110,000/year Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Associate Civil Engineer essential tasks: Design and engineer water, wastewater, civil, and other assigned projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and regulations. Perform drafting tasks for construction plans using AutoCAD software. Coordinate technical work across various sections for design, permitting, and contractor selection processes. Conduct studies, engineering investigations, and provide accurate cost estimates for projects. Manage projects assigned to external engineering consultants and provide technical assistance to stakeholders. Engage with federal, state, and local regulatory officials during project design and permitting processes. Maintain regular attendance, adhere to company policies, and demonstrate knowledge of CWS Environmental Management System Procedures. Qualified candidates will have an engineering degree with a focus on civil design associated with water systems. Civil engineering degree with preference for design of water and wastewater infrastructure; registration as an EIT in training in the state of SC required within 24 months of hire.
