Description Our client in Nashville is seeking a Software Implementation Project Manager to oversee the implementation of Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) as a capital project management system at the city level. This role will act as the primary liaison between the client and the third party (the contracted implementation partner.) The individual will be responsible for triaging issues, escalating appropriate items to the third party and serving as their "boots on the ground." Key Responsibilities Manage comprehensive implementation plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress against established timelines and budget, taking corrective action when necessary. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process. Conduct regular status meetings with clients to discuss project progress, address concerns, and manage expectations. Collaborate with technical teams to address technical challenges and ensure smooth integration with existing systems. Oversee data migration and configuration processes to align with client requirements. Lead and manage a cross-functional implementation team, including developers, consultants, and support personnel. Oversee the delivery of user training materials and workshops to ensure end-user adoption of the new software. Facilitate post-implementation support to address any issues or questions from clients.
