As an Armed Protection Security Officer - Supermarket chain in Miami-Dade County, you will serve and safeguard clients in a residential community. This position is responsible for the safety and security of the communities they protect. Our Security Protection Officers allow us to accomplish our company's core purpose which is "to service, secure and care for the people and businesses in our communities." Residential Protection Security Officers function as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; they detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests, or employees at the site.

• Active driver's license
• Valid Florida Security License D License and G License

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age
• Required, ability to use computer or tablet
• Required, comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site
