Salary: $85,000 - $90,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

As the Distribution Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our distribution center, ensuring optimal efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This key role within supply chain and logistics management is responsible for supervising warehouse operations, from receiving incoming shipments to delivering orders to customers or other destinations. You will report directly to the COO.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage a team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and planning.
  • Optimize workflows to reduce costs and improve performance.
  • Monitor KPIs to drive improvements and meet productivity targets.
  • Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain inventory tracking systems to minimize discrepancies.
  • Ensure a safe, clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Implement training programs for safety protocol compliance.
  • Enforce quality control measures and resolve customer complaints.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and vendors for timely deliveries.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with logistics partners.
  • Develop and manage the budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Generate reports on operational performance and maintain accurate documentation.




Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in distribution center management or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
