We are actively seeking a talented Delivery Manager to join our Enablement Platform, Process Automation team and take part in our people-first culture. This position requires someone who is forward-thinking and innovative with their solutions for the business. This role will be hybrid, with in-office days in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by leveraging your analytical and technical skills to solve complex problems. You'll join a dedicated, self-organizing, cross-functional team in developing our next generation automation systems. If you are a mission-driven self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture, this role will motivate you for years to come.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze complex business problems and clarify requirements with stakeholders
  • Assist in the overall scope definition, workflow design, and facilitation of technology development
  • Own the backlog, prioritize use cases, and drive team understanding
  • Create and communicate your team's product vision and roadmap
  • Facilitate regular demonstrations to users to ensure your team's products are well understood and meet initial/ongoing objectives
  • Work closely across business and technology teams to prioritize projects and collaborate on deliverables
  • Build strong working relationships with teams across the organization
  • Remove roadblocks that stand in the way of your team's ability to be effective
  • Keep key stakeholders updated on project deliverables and challenges
  • Communicate complex concepts and results in a clear and effective manner
  • Present new ideas and technologies to the Technology and Digital organization

Factors for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Technology organizations
  • Proven ability to achieve quality results in an environment requiring flexibility/adaptability to rapidly changing directives
  • Experience being part of a fast-paced agile software development team, with a strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban practices
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Innate sense of accountability and ownership
  • Ability to quickly understand and speak to complex concepts
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with a spirit of collaboration and diplomacy
  • Experience working as a Project Manager, Scrum Master or in a leadership role strongly preferred
  • Strong foundation with modern SDLC in various technologies (AWS Services, Python, Terraform or other IaaS, YAML, Git, PowerShell, RDBMS, NOSQL, Windows/Linux, CI/CD pipelines) preferred
  • Experience with Financial Services and Annuities or Life Insurance products is a bonus

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$108,000.00 - $132,000.00
