Position: Class A Yard Hostler

Near location: Stockton, CA



Shifts Available:
Sunday to Tuesday or Thursday to Saturday Alternating Wednesday every other week

Day Shift 5:00pm to 5:00am 12 hour shifts

Pay rate: $27.00 Per hour Over-time after 8 hours

Class A Hostler Duties:

*Yard hostlers will drive and maneuver yard goat & trailers from dock to dock switching out empty trailers with full trailers to keep production moving.

*Safety is always the key, so driver must be safety minded, perform pre and post trips daily, chock rear wheels

*Be aware of safety hazards in all weather conditions, and check trailers before pulling away from the dock doors.

*Ability to work in fast paced environment within a VERY tight yard

*Driver must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting and taking direction from dispatchers, or warehouse managers on a consistent basis through radio and on board computer system.

Driver Requirements:

22 years of age or older

Valid Class C license

1 year or more Class A Yard Hostler experience within the last 3 years.

Driver may not exceed any combination of 3 moving violations and/or preventable accidents on their MVR in the past 36 months.

NO DUI'S / DWI'S in the past 5 years, NO Reckless Driving in the past 5 years.
