Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional with experience in the construction industry? Our company is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes. If you have a background in construction payroll, certified payroll, and union payrolls, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Process accurate and timely payroll for employees.

* Calculate and manage payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.

* Maintain and ensure the integrity of employee payroll records.

* Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit statements.

* Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors promptly.

* Generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.

* Stay informed on payroll laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

* Collaborate with the HR department to ensure employee information accuracy.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience, specifically in the construction industry.

* Proven experience with prevailing wage payrolls.

* Experience managing union payrolls and fringe benefits.

Additional Requirements:

* Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, tax regulations, and general ledger accounting.

* Proficient in data entry and payroll software systems.

* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.

* Analytical skills to analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

* Effective communication skills for employee payroll inquiries.
