Dean of Students Job Description
The Division of Student Affairs is reimagining how best to serve Mizzou's student population. We are committed to designing exceptional co-curricular experiences to help all Mizzou students succeed on campus and after graduation. As part of this process, the Center for Student Involvement is seeking a collaborative, student-centered professional to fill the role of Coordinator for Student Organization and serve as the co-advisor for programs and services associated with the Organization Resource Group (ORG). Programs and services for this Coordinator position include, but are not limited to, allocation of Student Activity Fee funding for Student Organizations, training, advisor resources, and event registration. This position is responsible working alongside the other Coordinator for Student Organizations to hire, train, and supervise approximately 5 student employees. Additionally, this position will serve as a resource to student organization leaders and aid in the development of leadership, risk management, event planning, and other skills necessary to support student organization leaders who complement the academic mission through educational, social, and recreational experiences that encourage student engagement, sense of belonging, and affiliation with MU. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Shift
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday (40 hours per week). This position will require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $18.50 - $26.00 per hour, paid on a bi-weekly basis Application Materials
