Overview
To facilitate and coordinate the daily operation of the Surgical Services Department by ensuring that the system for delivery of the instruments and related accessories/equipment results in meeting the needs of the surgical team and quality surgical patient care. Qualifications License/Certifications: Education: Other Knowledge/Skills: Responsibilities Coordinates the processing of surgical instruments and equipment to ensure their availability for use in surgical procedures.
Applies knowledge of surgical instruments, surgical intervention, and principles of asepsis and sterilization to the assigned duties.
Participates in an instrument inventory control system that ensures adequate supply with budgetary guidelines.
Follows guidelines for care and maintenance of instruments as established by department, regulatory and professional agencies.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $18.51per hour - $29.99per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
