Lubbock Unit Manager - Mechanical 39762BR Ops Div Facilities Maintenance Position Description Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff. About the Department and/or College Facilities Maintenance at Texas Tech University ensures a high-quality environment for teaching and research by managing the maintenance and repair of educational buildings and essential infrastructure. Their mission focuses on maintaining spaces and systems in optimal condition through routine and scheduled upkeep to prevent failures. They also offer reimbursable services for non-educational functions and adapt their services to meet the evolving needs of students, faculty, and staff across various facility types, including offices, classrooms, laboratories, hallways, and restrooms. Major/Essential Functions
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years. Preferred Qualifications
