Title: Information Systems Management (Microsoft Office Applications) Anticipated Start Date: August 2025 School: School of Business Department: Business FLSA Status: Exempt Required Documents Needed to Upload at Time of Application: Cover Letter, Resume, transcripts and three professional references. Reference check requirements: Three (3) professional references, two (2) of which should be former or current supervisors and (1) professional reference. Personal references (friends, clergy, customers, relatives) are not considered acceptable references. WORK SCHEDULE: Regular Full-time Tenure-Track Faculty/traditional and/or online delivery of courses JOB OBJECTIVE: Teach in the area of information systems and office technology according to college policy. JOB STANDARDS: Minimum Faculty Qualifications A master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours (or equivalent) in information systems, business education, business administration, technological and adult education, or related courses is required. Certiport MOS Excel Expert certification earned or in progress (the ability to earn certification by December 31, 2025). A minimum of two years of work experience in computer applications or office systems technology is preferred. Teaching experience, especially in a community college environment, is preferred. Pellissippi State Community College recognizes that the ability to communicate effectively is an essential skill for all academic personnel to perform competently.
