Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Financial Manager
Location: DuPage County, IL (Onsite)
Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00 pm
Reports To: President

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Manager to join our client company. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of their expanding North American businesses. You will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and M&A support. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not are Limited to:
* Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for the North American operations.
Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful commentary on variances.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.
Support the development and implementation of mid-term business plans.
* Financial Operations:
Manage various bank accounts and relationships with banking institutions.
Oversee cash flow management and treasury operations.
Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
* M&A Support:
Conduct financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
Perform valuation analyses and prepare financial models.
Support the integration of acquired businesses.
* Business Partnering:
Collaborate closely with business leaders to provide financial guidance and support.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
* Other Duties as Assigned:
Provide support to the accounting department as needed.
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
Qualifications:
Bilingual Japanese and English skills (written and verbal communication).
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in a financial management role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling tools.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to attend online meetings with Japan (0-2 times a months) after business hours.
Experience in a multinational or global company is a plus.
Ability to attend occasional domestic and international travels.
