Pay rate: $30 - $40/hr. Schedule: 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Perform production welding on pipes and piping components, including pipes, flanges, fittings, and more. Review and interpret weld procedures, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions for specific tasks. Understand NDE requirements (VT, PT, RT) and apply basic weld examination techniques. Position and fit piping components accurately for welding. Set up welding equipment and verify weld size using appropriate gauges. Maintain welder logs for each project and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Utilize tools such as grinders, burr tools, wire brushes, and handle oxy/fuel pre-heating and carbon/arc gouging duties. Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have experience welding Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, both manually and/or semi-automatically. Additionally, they must be able to pass weld testing (RT & Visual) in the 1G position for the following welding processes: GTAW, FCAW, and SAW.
