Overview
To be the area expert in performing routine and specialized examinations in Ultrasound; adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results; prepare patients for examinations. This requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist, cardiologist, or board certified vascular specialist. This position is also the preceptor and resource technologist in the area for training of employees/students and daily functions. Additionally, all other duties are required or assigned. Qualifications License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months - American Heart Association (AHA); American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Education: Associate's Degree: Sonography (Required) Other Knowledge/Skills: Related field Responsibilities Clinical Excellence/Patient Care

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $34.87per hour - $59.98per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
