Intercollegiate Athletics Job Description
The University of Missouri Football Program is seeking an assistant to the head coach who will be responsible for the administration of the football program. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Directly supporting the Head Football Coach and providing department management by coordinating with Head Coach and program directors. Acting as a liaison between the Head Coach and the support staff. Adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges and educates/guides the Head Coach in operational decision making. Identifying and solving complex problems, providing guidance and direction. Serving as a liaison to the football training room, weight room and academics. Overseeing the Director of Player Development; assisting with player/parent communication. Coordinating all aspects of executive level manager appointments, meetings, receptions, and conference calls. Directly involved with the Head coach and his schedule on a day-to-day basis. May prepare and review materials and correspondence for meetings. Assists with creation/modification of presentations, spreadsheets and other various documents. Understanding policy and procedures and assisting in special projects to include Senior Day and Senior Banquet. Performing all duties in compliance with NCAA, SEC, University and Department rules and regulations. Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired. Experience in the following of adhering to NCAA rules and regulations is also necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a NCAA Division I football program. Anticipated Hiring Range
