Job Title: Senior Accountant Location:- Scottsdale, AZ Compensation: $75,000 - $89,000 annually (based on experience)n + fully-covered benefits (employer & family) About the Role: Vaco has partnered with a valued client that is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field (required). 2+ years of public accounting experience or corporate accounting experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
