GuidePoint Security is currently seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to serve as an Asset and Inventory Manager, Team Lead to oversee an asset management inventory system team. This position will supervise and provide guidance to the inventory team on how best to maintain accurate records of assets, track assets, and prioritize assets based upon financial impact. Strategic leadership will include developing and implementing strategies for effective inventory and asset management. Short and long-term goals for inventory and asset optimization will be established to oversee the lifecycle management of valuable assets including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal. Leveraging technology and data analytics, with client-owned tools is desired. The primary focus will be the population and auditing of devices for management and cyber security awareness and building fiscal models to help support the lifecycle management of assets.

Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics team to manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Review and analyze ServiceNow Incidents and Requests as it relates hardware assets.
  • Guide, coach, and support analysts on best practices to tracks assets and maintain accurate records.
  • Review inventory reports and insights provided by analyst on a regular basis.
  • Oversee maintenance of accurate records, optimizing asset utilization, and understand the cost dynamics associated with the asset base.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain integrity of software asset data.
  • Identify and report on potential issues with asset tracking tools.
  • Report on issues with all supporting systems and input.
  • Develop and maintain Hardware Asset Management related program and process documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:



  • Ability to undergo an extensive background check with fingerprints.
  • Ten (10) years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in cyber-security or related field.
  • Experience with leading a small team.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytic and organizational skills
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated skills with office automation tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through


Travel Requirements:



  • Travel up to 25% as needed


Physical Requirements:



  • Sedentary work
  • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
