THE JOB:

Join the iconic Luxor team as a Painter Combo and help maintain the beauty and functionality of our property. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. STARTING RATE:$30.42 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Job Assignments: Responsible for completing all tasks assigned by Dispatch or Management efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Property Knowledge: Work across various locations, including the casino floor, hotel rooms, and other areas, while maintaining professionalism and minimizing disruptions to guests.

• Tool Operation: Operate power and hand tools, including conventional and airless spray equipment, to complete assignments promptly and effectively.

• Surface Preparation and Painting: Prepare surfaces for painting, apply paint, install wall coverings, adjust paint colors as needed, and perform patching, taping, texturing, and acoustics with minimal supervision.

• Technical Expertise: Stay informed on current techniques and methods to ensure tasks are completed using the latest industry standards.

• Property Layout: Understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment to perform duties efficiently and effectively.

• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a constant focus on cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention. Be prepared to wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Workspace Standards: Ensure workspaces, including those on the casino floor, meet safety and cleanliness standards while adhering to property guidelines.

• Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

• Availability: Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Painting and Finishing Experience: Prior experience in painting, surface preparation, finishing, or wall covering installation is highly preferred.

• Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members, particularly when working on the casino floor or in public areas.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions and temperatures.
