What you would do here:

Do you have a detective's mindset? Would you like to investigate medical records, claims documents, and adjudicate medical claims for our Government Programs team? Our Claims Analyst will be working with providers and customers to determine the facts of our customer incidents. They will use their innate analytical skills to determine that all claims are received and processed accurately.

What you already know and have done:

  • Ability to investigate, evaluate and pursue resolution of medical claims
  • Proven ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of company benefit products and policy parameters, while analyzing claims within those parameters
  • Ability to work independently to complete research on various issues and respond to inquiries
  • Demonstrated proactive approach in client and provider communication to correct resolution of claims
  • Processed adjustments of duplicate payments, overpayments, and payments made in error
  • Ensured that claims are not fraudulent

Ideally You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with proficient computer and productivity skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Experience with standard and commonly used claim concepts, practices and procedures
