Job Details Job Description The clinical research manager will help support a portfolio of ongoing and new research projects related to substance use disorders and serious mental illnesses. These projects are qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods and will require a detail-oriented person to help oversee and execute them from conceptualization to analysis and finally dissemination in presentations and manuscripts.Essential Functions:Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.Implement recruitment plans and screen participants for eligibilityObtain participant consent and schedule assessmentsOversee participant compensation and participant compensation logsRefine and implement tracking protocols to maintain high follow-up and retention rates in longitudinal studiesAssist with research analysis for qualitative or quantitative data under the direction of the Principal InvestigatorsAssist with assembling and organizing grant supplemental documents and help with reports to funders for funded grantsConduct literature reviews and support drafting of manuscript sections Submit University and City IRBs as needed for studies Conduct assessments or interviews with participants as neededOpportunities to present data internally and externallyPerform other related activities as required Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Education:Masters degree or higher (Ph.D. preferred) in social work, public health, psychology, nursing, or other social/behavioral science disciplinesANDExperience:At least 2 years of experience with conducting and analyzing research dataWork Shift Rotating (United States of America)Worker Sub Type RegularPrimary Location Address 1015 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of AmericaNationally ranked, Jefferson, which is principally located in the greater Philadelphia region, Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, is reimagining health care and higher education to create unparalleled value.
