The General Case Management (GCM) Intern will work under the supervision of the Caseworker to provide trauma-informed services to newcomer families, couples and single adults to support their integration and self-sufficiency. The General Case Management Program sits within IRC's Intake & Casework Department serving a large and diverse caseload of new arrivals. This internship includes opportunities for direct engagement with clients to assess their needs and develop action plans to achieve client goals. The Intern will also support the Caseworker to connect the client to services both within the IRC and externally in accordance with client eligibility and program requirements. This internship is unpaid and requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, to be completed through a combination of in person and virtual time. RESPONSIBILITIES:
