The Opportunity:

The Communications Manager, Stakeholder Engagement is a creative storyteller, project manager, and team collaborator who works closely with university leaders to develop and deliver compelling content. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Advancement Communications and Marketing, this role supports donor and constituent engagement through executive communications, impactful messaging, and seamless collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities:


  • Executive Communications: Create and manage content for external audiences, including correspondence, endowment reports, recognition society communications, and other donor-focused materials.

  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner with teams across the university to meet donor and constituent communication needs on behalf of senior leaders, including the UCF President, Provost, and Senior Vice President for Advancement & Partnerships.

  • Event Communications: Develop event materials, such as speaking points, invitations, and post-event correspondence for key donor and university events.

  • Internal Communications: Lead internal communication strategies and execution for the Advancement & Partnerships division.

  • Content Editing: Review, edit, and refine drafts, PowerPoints, and documents, ensuring alignment with university standards and protocols.

  • Board Support: Assist with developing and editing documents and presentations for the Foundation Board of Directors.

  • Strategic Contributions: Support the communications team with high-priority projects and strategic initiatives.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in fundraising in a nonprofit, or higher education setting.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience crafting executive-level communications.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with attention to detail and timely delivery.

  • Experience in donor or constituent communications, preferably within a university or nonprofit setting.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and with senior leadership.

  • Familiarity with internal communications strategies and execution.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, design editing tools, and workflows for executive briefing processes.

The anticipated pay scale indicated for this position generally applies to candidates who meet the minimum requirements and several of the preferred qualifications outlined above.
