Job Summary: The Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) for the Parenting in Recovery Program provides assessment, triage, and treatment to children ages 0-17 whose parent(s) have been adjudicated in Travis County Drug Court, the majority of clients served are three and under.

The clinical treatment will include outpatient services in the modalities of individual and or family therapy. Additional services may include collateral contacts, court testimony, and case consultation with our inter-disciplinary team. Services will be provided in the environment of the consumer's home or other community setting where the child resides. The therapist develops and implements an individualized treatment plan that may include mental health assessments, advocacy, intensive care coordination, parent training, family support, crisis intervention, and therapy. The LPHA must coordinate with multiple child serving systems when necessary. Must meet the agency productivity standards and provide timely and accurate documentation. Awareness and knowledge of cultural diversity in the community is beneficial.

Knowledge of treating mental health diagnosis and co-occurring substance use disorders using a recovery based and trauma-informed perspective is required. Integral Care uses a computerized medical records system. Applicants must have strong computer skills.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:


  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

License:

Required:


  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT.

Experience:

Required:


  • Experience working with youth, diagnosing children's mental health.

Preferred:


  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Play therapy experience is preferred.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary: $64,798.24 - $82,610.32 annually depending on licensure.
