ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Maintain and publish FormFactor's Logic/Foundry and RF probe product technology roadmaps utilizing the Product Life Cycle (PLC) methodology
  • Track internal and external customer engagement activities, including targeted development programs, customer commitments, and escalations
  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineering, marketing, and operations to forecast and track engineering probe designs and manufacturing volumes
  • Drive engineering change control rigor including coordination of activities across the Probes Business Unit
  • Ensure engineering quality through the tracking and driving of Customer 8Ds to resolution
  • Document engineering best known methods and development methodologies for technology validation and architecture integration
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the probe engineering organization
  • Maintain a one-team attitude to foster collaboration between internal teams and business units



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED


  • A master's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering, or equivalent discipline. A Ph.D. degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years semiconductor industry experience with a focus on semiconductor process integration, quality, and change control
  • Self-starter, with strong oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate at different levels of the organization
  • Directly experienced with DOE methodology
  • Demonstrable experience and a passion for analyzing and understanding the root cause for failures in a complex integrated process
  • Past successful history of efficiently working in a cross-functional manner


The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $ 163,400 - $214,410. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Benefits offered for this role include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.
