Mustang Cat is urgently hiring for a Machinist.

The Machine Technician I is responsible for providing high quality repair service on equipment using Manual & NC Milling/Lathe machines, in order to respond to customer needs in a timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed.

Machinist Additional Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies.
• Set up and create fixtures/jigs as needed.
• Sandblast components as needed to perform inspection.
• Inspect and Grind valvetrain components.
• Inspect components to determine reusability.
• Inspect and Polish components to OEM specifications.
• Pack/crate complete product.
• Other shop duties assigned as needed.

Machinist Position Requirements:

• Work safely and follow all Mustang CAT safety policies and procedures.
• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs.
• Ability to provide accurate information to management for quoting.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Associate degree or certificate from technical school preferred.
• Previous mechanic work or military experience.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in some form of automotive or industrial machining.
• Must have experience with using micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
