Advantage XPO is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Haven, CT, and help maintain and repair a variety of machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, dock locks, and production machines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills looking to make an impact. Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday, Friday & Saturday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Pay: $26 - $29 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for sounds to identify issues Assist in dismantling equipment to access and remove defective parts Inspect used parts to determine necessary dimensional changes Assist in repairing or replacing defective parts Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments Lubricate and clean parts as required Ensure accurate and timely paperwork related to maintenance and repairs Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent) 5 years of related experience or equivalent education and training Valid driver's license Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals Strong communication skills for reports and group discussions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at roof level Ability to work in tight spaces and remain on feet during start-up processes Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, and occasional environmental hazards Must wear safety gear (steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, eye protection) Flexible schedule, including weekends and non-standard hours Moderate noise level in the work environment If you're ready to apply your mechanical skills in a dynamic and challenging environment, click "Apply Now".
