About the Role:
Join Yardi as an Accounts Receivable Analyst I, where your
attention to detail and problem-solving skills will ensure timely and accurate
processing of customer payments. In this role, you'll apply payments, research
and resolve application issues, and support account reconciliation and
collections efforts. You'll also assist with generating invoices, maintaining
client records, and preparing reports to support the Accounts Receivable team.

What You'll Do:
- Apply customer
payments to the accounting system, including checks, ACH, and credit cards - Research and
resolve payment application issues; identify process improvements to prevent recurring issues - Escalate issues to
Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst upon exhausting research efforts - Ensure all payments
are applied within a week of batch date and by month end - Communicate with
clients regarding remit discrepancies when needed - Prepare scheduled
and ad-hoc reports - Assist with
researching unpaid invoices and collecting payments - Update client
records, client information, and billing settings - Assist with
generating and distributing invoices; sets up client invoicing information in
the accounting system - Maintain solid
knowledge or accounts receivable concepts and department policies and
procedures
Who You Are:
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- One plus (1+) years of accounts receivable or general
accounting experience - Solid knowledge of accounts receivable concepts
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables
- Data entry and 10-key proficiency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- Close attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
