Requisition ID req31884 Working Title Program Coordinator Position Grade 10 Position Summary The UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Community Behavioral Health (CBH) is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. The mission of CBH is to address health care disparities through: health services research and evaluation; capacity building; training and workforce development; and through increasing access to quality behavioral health services that are holistic, cost-effective and provided with respect to unique cultures and communities. CBH is seeking a Program Coordinator to coordinate all administrative and training logistics related to a statewide opioid initiative. Duties include: project coordination, implementation and logistics, including coordinating data collection and training, such as project materials preparation, site location research, attendance and training support as needed; manage extensive communications with statewide community partners in order to improve data collection and reporting; develop a thorough understanding of continuing education process, accreditation, and credentialing; provide extensive webinar support and real-time technical assistance to large audiences when needed; guide lower level staff on data entry needs; manage complex scheduling; develop data collection tools, policies and procedures, as needed; provide daily support to project faculty, staff and partners; and build positive relationships with external agencies and stakeholders. This position will work closely with faculty, the project PI, clinical and non-clinical partners, and will assist with implementation and meeting facilitation. This position will also hold administrative duties and a UNM purchasing card. The qualified candidate should have in-depth knowledge of and experience with: statewide opioid initiatives and methods to connect with partners for accountability; project coordination and logistics; continuing education process; RedCap, Zoom and Smartsheet; familiarity with behavioral health issues and human services-related programs; culturally competent and able to work within diverse communities; establishing and maintaining positive community relationships; scheduling meetings and events; and fiscal and administrative functions. The desired candidate for this high-energy position is customer service-oriented, efficient, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a term, full-time, benefits eligible position. This is not a remote position, but may work remotely at times. This position may require limited travel within New Mexico. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
