Location: West Palm Beach, FL Travel: 75% (Primarily assigned to project sites) Position Summary The Project Engineer II is a mid-level, field-focused role responsible for supporting project execution with significant time spent onsite at active construction projects. With a minimum of three years of relevant experience, this role applies advanced engineering principles in soil mechanics, hydraulics, structural theory, and geotechnical construction to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant field operations. The Project Engineer II works closely with project managers, superintendents, field engineers, subcontractors, and craft teams. This position takes increased ownership of field coordination, production tracking, quality control, and technical problem solving. While some office-based responsibilities are required, the role is primarily field-heavy, requiring extended durations on project sites and direct engagement in daily construction activities. Physical Demands & Work Environment This office and field hybrid role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.
