Job Description:

First Shift (PRN) 8:00am- 4:30pm

Rotating Call, Rotating Holidays, and Rotating Weekends

The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and procedures that do not require breaking the skin or entering the body. This unit plays a crucial role in assessing and diagnosing a variety of medical conditions, particularly those related to cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular systems.

Description:

  • Responsible for performance of quality vascular procedures and all related activities such as processing of reports, patient education and on call responsibilities

  • Abdominal Vascular experience preferred by not required

  • Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages

  • Mentor other ultrasound technologists, performing vascular procedures, to ensure quality of procedures performed within the department

  • Technologist communicates procedure diagnostic information to physician(s)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

  • Life Support Training or Certification (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.)

  • ARDMS or CCI board certification for Echocardiography or Vascular

  • Must obtain Secondary Modality within 2 years of hire

Must be credentialed as one of the following:

Vascular Ultrasound:

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

  • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)];

Echo Ultrasound:

  • Registered Cardiac Technologist (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

  • Registered Cardiac Specialist (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
