Sports Medicine Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)

Inova Health Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is seeking board-certified (or eligible) Physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with Fellowship training in Sports Medicine. This Primary Care Sports Medicine physician will provide non-surgical musculoskeletal care in a growing area of Northern Virginia with a primary location in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Minimum Education Requirement:



  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical program


Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:



  • Board Certified or Eligible in in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with Fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
  • Active VA medical license or ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license to practice Sports Medicine
  • Active unrestricted VA DEA or ability to obtain
  • Ability to successfully obtain credentialed privileges through Inova
  • BLS through American Heart Association
