Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T processes as well as certain disease staging associated with those processes.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and follow-through as seen by timely and appropriate submission to CIBMTR registry.
- Provides expertise and advice regarding CIBMTR standards and requirements for the IEC program. Acts as a liaison with CIBMTR.
- Provides advice and helps implement changes in the IEC program to comply with CIBMTR requirements.
- Assists with Quality Management activities such as chart audits and other data retrieval for the IEC Program.
- Verifies accuracy of patient's disease status and risk assessments per CIBMTR guidelines.
- Assumes responsibility for own professional development and maintenance of professional knowledge and skills relevant to stem cell transplantation and the CAR-T process.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of CIBMTR requirements.
Qualifications
- Nursing degree (BSN preferred)
- Minimum three years medical/surgical nursing experience required, oncology experience preferred.
- Current RN state license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Must be willing to travel between offices as needed.
