Instructors of Communicative Disorders

Position Summary:
Eastern New Mexico University is seeking two applicants for full time Instructor in CDIS beginning January 2025, one semester only appointment. Instructor primary duties will include teaching undergraduate coursework with a possibility of supervising graduate level student clinicians. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in CDIS
• Provide clinical supervision
• Assist with ASHA accreditation compliance
• Participation in program, departmental, and university activities.

• CCC-SLP and Master's degree
• At least two years of CDIS practice experience
• Eligibility for NM licensure as SLP

• Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidate must possess commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds.

Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
Work is generally sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
