Develop and implement safety programs to provide for continuous improvement and effectiveness of the Safety Management System. Effect, document and maintain procedures to identify the Occupational Safety and Health aspects of activities and services. Develop and deliver training programs in compliance with policy, procedures, regulations and standards to provide the safety of students and staff. Develop the Return to Work Program, to improve efficiency by reducing lost work time due to illness or injuries. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Individuals in all departments in both academic and administration/finance divisions of the Institute. This position will typically advise and counsel: faculty, staff, students and Safety Specialist. This position will supervise: Safety Specialist. Responsibilities
