Overnight Room Service Server (Part Time)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares silver, room service trays, coffee etc. at start of and throughout shift, as required
• Presets trays and carts as required throughout shift. Prepares each tray for specific order requirements
• Checks all Room Service Orders for accuracy and completeness prior to departing kitchen
• Delivers Room Service Orders to guestroom in a timely manner
• Sets up and serves order in guest room, according to guest preference and Loews Hotels Standards, in a polite professional manner
• Obtains proper charge authorization or payment for orders delivered
• Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly
• Picks up soiled Room Service trays and carts from guestrooms and corridors as needed
• Cleans and maintains Room Service area and equipment
• Delivers amenities to guestrooms
• Removes consumed amenity items and/or Room Service trays from guest rooms

• Completes required set up / preparation at beginning of shift
• Inspects all equipment before and at end of shift, reports any needed repairs to Leadership
• Inventories supplies at beginning of shift and obtains supplies necessary to support forecasted level of business
• Performs delivery, placement and any required set up of amenities and/or equipment requested by guest
• Completes assigned closing duties at end of shift
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage, Room Service experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of quality food service techniques and standards
• Exceptional guest service attitude and abilities
• Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighing 35+ pounds
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
