Location:Information Systems -12451 Gateway Blvd.Suite 200Fort Myers FL 33913 Department: IS Informatics Work Type: Full Time, Exempt Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$104,769.60 - 136,198.40 / Annual SummaryThe Program Director is an innovative and strategic leader in AI strategy and implementation, acting as the primary liaison for AI vendors and solution providers. This pivotal role is essential for aligning AI initiatives with Lee Health's digital transformation strategy, enhancing patient care, and driving operational efficiency. Serves as the primary representative for AI initiatives, skillfully conveying the vision, advantages, and advancements of AI projects to a variety of stakeholders, such as leadership, team members, and external partners. Creates and executes AI education programs for staff, arranges workshops and training sessions on AI topics, collaborates with marketing and public relations teams to promote AI initiatives, and develops online learning resources and modules for ongoing education. Ensures that all AI projects comply with healthcare regulations and ethical standards, keeps abreast of AI-related legislation and industry best practices, and continually refines internal policies to promote responsible AI usage. Provides guidance on AI technologies and fosters and sustains collaborative relationships across all levels of expertise within the IS domain. This position will be largely remote, however occasional in-person meetings will be required. RequirementsEducation: Bachelors degree required. Masters degree or masters prepared preferred. Experience: Minimum five years of Information Systems. Experience in developing and executing strategic roadmaps for large organizations Certification: N/A License: N/A Other: Proven track record in implementing technical and/or clinical projects Demonstrated ability to scale projects into sustainable programs In-depth understanding of various AI technologies and their applications Comprehensive knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation strategies, and responsible AI practices Familiarity with healthcare data standards and interoperability challenges Exceptional ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technology trends in AI and healthcare Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding AI in healthcare Excellent communication and leadership skills Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Adaptability to rapidly evolving technological environments US:FL:Fort Myers |
