Forensic Peer Supporter

Recovery Resources (a nonprofit comprehensive mental health/behavioral health clinic) is seeking a Peer Supporter who is passionate about providing quality care to help people triumph over mental illness and addiction. Recovery Resources has partnered with criminal justice stakeholders to provide community-based mental health services and support.

As the Peer Supporter, you will collaborate with facilities staff to assist clients on their life's journey as they struggle with mental health and/or addiction challenges. Duties will include assisting clients through mentoring and reinforcing coping skills. You may also be asked to assist in group facilitation with the Forensic Liaison.

Minimum qualification for the position include:

* High School Diploma or GED

* Certified Peer Recover Supporter Certification (or ability to achieve certification in first year)

* Active recovery of at least one year

* A commitment to the Recovery Resource's mission
