Demonstrate competency to deliver a planned course of radiation therapy accurately and safely. Use appropriate machine settings to deliver treatment while visually monitoring the patient and treatment console during treatment. Takes appropriate verification images. Check treatment plans and parameters prior to initial treatment. Reports any deviations in treatment plan to appropriate channels. Performs and maintains Quality Assurance activities. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology. 3. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. 4. Two years' experience as a radiation therapist preferred. 5. Experience and competence with ARIA and Truebeam. 6. Cyberknife and HDR experience preferred. 7. American Heart Association BLS card required. 8. Demonstrate ability and willingness to educate other staff. Ability to work independently.
