Summary:

We are looking for an XA application expert to join our SKF Aerospace team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of Infor XA 10.X and related applications within SKF Aerospace from a technical perspective. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the reliability and functionality of critical aerospace applications. This technical leadership is crucial to the overall success of SKF Aerospace.

Responsibilities:

• Technically oversee the ERP upgrade/modernization project for Aero units in the US, including the upgrade project to a modern XA Stack - XA R10 CE, XA COM, etc.
  
  
  
• Design, Implement and maintain advanced planning solutions with Thruput.
  
  
  
• Participate in technically understanding the customizations made versus business/process requirements and effectively address them in the new system during the upgrade.
  
  
  
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and resolve system-related issues promptly.
  
  
  
• Interact with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business strategy while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
  
  
  
• Ensure the alignment of the ERP system with the company's business processes, goals, and strategies.
  
  
  
• Actively collaborate with SKF's central IT colleagues to leverage best practices and drive synergy.
  
  
  
• Provide training and support for end-users.
  
  
  
• Ensure Aero-specific customizations are addressed in the Cloud environment.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of work experience.
  
  
  
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience and/or education is required.
  
  
  
• Applicants must possess profound knowledge of the Infor product portfolio, specifically Infor XA (Release 10.X, 9.1/9.2), with expertise in Customer order Management (COM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Procurement and add-on packages, Inventory Management (IM), finance modules, and Thruput.
  
  
  
• Work experience in Supply Chain and ERP Management, particularly in software design, development, and enhancement using various software skills on the IBM iSeries platform, is essential.
  
  
  
• A solid understanding of the XA data model and Infor data fabric is necessary.
  
  
  
• Proficiency in SQL is required.
  
  
  
• It is preferred to have proficiency with BI/Reporting solutions such as Snowflake and MS Power BI.
  
  
  
• Experience with AWS GovCloud will be an added advantage.
  
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
  
  
  
• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment is crucial.
  
  
  
• Candidates must be able to quickly obtain the necessary credentials to comply with all federal export control requirements (US citizen or a US permanent resident).
  
  
  
• Awareness of integrating AI technologies into ERPs for real-time data analysis, pattern identification, prediction, and providing valuable recommendations is a plus.
  
  
  

Travel:

This is multi-site job. Although remote collaborative work is encouraged and promoted. The chosen candidate is required flexibility to travel (up to 20% in average) to visit stakeholders, clarify requirements and better understand business processes in use.
