The Laboratory IS Program Coordinator will facilitate communication, integration and problem solving with Beaker/Lab IT and Community Health Teams and will be responsible for supporting the laboratory management team in coordinating select laboratory IS projects, upgrades, workflow improvements and other support functions. This role will ensure the laboratory is in accordance with all regulatory agencies and ensure all required documentation is in order and available to auditors. Additionally, the Laboratory IS Program Coordinator will participate in organizational and lab- based quality improvement and compliance activities and reports to the Laboratory Billing and Compliance Program Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science or Information Systems or combination of the above. Graduate degree in healthcare related field preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, climbing (ladder, steps) and driving. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 35lbs.
